Agricola House is a pet-friendly, award-winning luxury self-catering holiday accommodation in Wirksworth on the edge of the Peak District for up to 14 guests in 7 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms, all within walking distance of Wirksworth, one of the oldest towns on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Ideal for large family groups, a house party full of friends, self-guided cycling holidays or corporate events and team-building bookings.
Socialise with your party in the large, well-equipped open-plan kitchen diner, and watch your favourite movie in the soundproofed cinema room with a surround sound system and games console. or relax with aromatherapy oils in our wellness sauna. The house has ample parking for up to 10 cars excellent WiFi and a mobile signal for keeping in touch. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement – please ask before booking.

Agricola House was selected as a winner on 15th October 2017 of Small Business Sunday, (shortened to the hashtag #SBS on Twitter) which was created by Theo Paphitis in October 2010. Theo is best known for appearing on Dragons Den on BBC Two. Theo says, “I admire people who have passion and energy”. Owners, Rachel and Mark are to be featured in Derbyshire Life.

The historic town of Wirksworth has a thriving arts community and is ideal for a relaxing holiday. Agricola house is within close walking distance to an independent cinema, a range of boutique shops, a climbing wall as well as cafés and restaurants.
