Agricola House offers unique and quirky award-winning self-catering accommodation, which is ideal for your corporate events and team building breaks.
Agricola has 7 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms sleeping 14 guests. There is a large open plan and modern, sociable living space which can be used for meetings, presentations and group discussions. As the house has two wings these can be used as break-away areas which are well-suited for working on projects in smaller groups. The house has great Wi-Fi and a strong mobile signal with ample parking for up to 10 cars.
Why stay in Wirksworth?
Agricola is located in the conservation area of a historic small town of Wirksworth, which has ample wine bars, an independent cinema and boutique shops to explore when not working. There is also ample space to relax, with a movie in our cinema lounge or even unwind in the wellness sauna.
Activities for Corporate Team Events
The house has been used in the past for team events and corporate meetings and as our unique self-catering option has great advantages as a private venue for a corporate or team event. The house has wi-fi to be used during your visit and ample parking
In addition to the house there are a range of activities in the local area to enjoy during your stay, which can be organised either as individuals or as team building events, these activities include: Water activities at Carsington water, canoeing and Kayaking, cycling along the High Peak Trail or in the Peak District which is on your doorstep, Acclimbatize can arrange corporate team events, climbing, walking excursions and much, much more. Catering for Corporate Events
Catering can also be arranged at Agricola House, this could involve a chef coming to the house and cooking a meal for the guests or a catering company bringing food for you to the house for a special lunch or a sit-down meal.
